Ursula "Uschi" Schneider was the daughter of Eva Braun's best friend Herta Schneider, whom she had known since their childhood. Uschi and her mother were often invited to spend time at the Berghof. Uschi was one of Hitler's favorite little girl and loved to spend time with her.

Hoffmann introduced Hitler to Braun as “Herr Wolf.” Hitler soon began courting Braun, and by 1936 Braun had moved into his chalet in Berchtesgaden.
